- The GLF got a bit of a tweaking just prior to the new year, including a new Baltimore-area food and beverage events calendar at the bottom of the site. Topics covered this past week included discussions of the Irish Christmas Pirate and Nog-a-sake, as well as other egg nog-based beer and chocolate vodka experiments; the merits of the renaming of Clipper City Brewery to Heavy Seas, their upcoming beer release schedule and first event of the year; and some recently confirmed festivals for 2010 involving tasty consumables and libations.
